Scales of Justice reimagines one of civilization’s oldest symbols of law and fairness. At the center of the composition displays a stylized balance scale, suspended against a vibrant network of intersecting forms. It can be observed that while the beam of the balance sits level, the masses of each fire arm are distinctly unequal. Off centering the fulcrum of the scale displays the idea of mankind's inherent bias, with laws and constitutionality being reinterpreted everyday, it displays the lack of correlation between the scale of justice and the balance of justice.
